This course provides an in-depth study of parasitic organisms affecting humans and animals, focusing on their classification, life cycles, transmission, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and control. Emphasis is placed on protozoa, helminths (worms), and arthropod vectors of medical importance. Students will explore host-parasite interactions, immune responses, and the public health implications of parasitic diseases.
